Maya has spent her career working at the intersection of strategy, sales, market research, and commercial growth, with experience supporting businesses across both Canada and the United States.Her work has included helping early-stage and growing businesses evaluate new markets, sharpen their customer positioning, improve pricing and sales approaches, and build practical go-to-market plans. She has worked with founders navigating everything from first launch to expansion, including consumer brands, food and beverage businesses, service companies, and other founder-led ventures.Maya was drawn to advisory work after seeing how often strong business ideas stall not because the product is weak, but because the founder is unsure how to validate the market, price the offer, reach the right customer, or decide what to prioritize next.At Venture Path Advisory, she focuses on giving founders clear, practical guidance they can actually use, whether they are launching their first concept, entering a new market, or trying to build a more sustainable path to growth.
